Salman Khan to remake Chiranjeevi's Stalin!

If our sources in Bollywood are to be believed Chiranjeevi's last movie Stalin is going to be remade in Hindi with Salman Khan in lead role. Salman Khan’s brother Sohail Khan might direct the film. The discussions to remake the film in Hindi are still in preliminary stages and an official statement is expected very soon.

Six years ago, when Chiranjeevi was contemplating to foray in to politics, he acted wanted to act in a movie with Social message and chose Stalin by AR Murugudoss. The movie was a decent hit then. Stalin was written and directed by A R Murugadoss and Chiranjeevi had played the role of an army major in the film. Trisha had paired up with Chiranjeevi and Prakash Raj played the villain’s role

Balayya once again irritates fans

As fans are eagerly waiting for new projects as Balayya nearing 100 films mark. The senior actor's moves are irritating the fans. He had taken a long gap from movies after his last movie, Srimannarayana and since then he had been only hearing the stories from small directors. And the latest in the list is Chinni Krishna who directed Veedu Theda with Nikhil. The senior actor had reportedly liked the subject of the movie but is yet to give the final confirmation. Chinna Krishna earlier worked as VV Vinayak assistant for many of his block buster movies.

This project if materialized will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh on his Sri Sai Ganesh movies banner.

Rajinikanth approaches Kamal Hassan for help

Taking a cue from Kamal Hassan’s ‘Viswaroopam’, Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiyaan’ is all set to make use of the latest technology Auro 3D. Auro-3D is the latest in next generation audio format that seems to provide a full three-dimensional sound spread capable of reproducing natural acoustic space. It was told that Rajinikanth called on Kamal and requested his help with the Auro 3D technology. The core team of Kochadaiyaan had a meeting with Kamal Haasan recently wherein they discussed the viability of utilizing this technique in their film and the veteran star gave good tips for it.

Kochadaiyaan has Sarathkumar, Aadi, Deepika Padukone, Shobana, Jackie Shroff and Nassar as part of the cast. Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya is directing the movie. KS Ravi Kumar had penned the script. The movie is being readied for September release. Music Mozzart AR Rahman is rendering the music.

Nayak CG Work in progress

The CG work of Mega Power Star Ram Charan's latest offering Nayak is currently underway. The CG work of the movie is going on. The work of the first half is complete and the second half is in progress. On the other side, the last schedule of Nayak will begin from 27th of this month and will go on till 15th December. With this the total shooting of Nayak will be wrapped up. The movie unit are confident that every thing is on track for January 9th release.

Kajal Agarwal and Amala Paul are acting as the female leads in Nayak. VV Vinayak is directing the movie while DVV Danayya is producing the movie under Universal movies banner. Thaman is composing the music.

Kamal Hassan enters Sankranthi race

Kamal Hassan's much-awaited Viswaroopam is complete and ready for release and is confirmed to release on January 11th in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Viswaroopam joins the Pongal 2013 race, making it a tough battle. Other movies that are set to fight it out include Ram Charan starrer Alexpandian, Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu's multistarer movie, Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
The movie also stars Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah, Rahul Bose, Jaideep Ahlawat, Nassar, Zarina Wahab and Miles Anderson along side Kamal. Kamal has written, directed and co-produced the film. Shankar, Eshaan and Loy have composed music for the film, while Sanu Verghese has handled the camera.

Puri's political games

It is a known fact that Puri Jagannath shares good relationship with late YSR and his family. According to latest information Puri Jagannath's family is all set to join YSRCP. Insiders reveal he is trying to make his wife Lavanya contest Loksabha elections from Anakapalli constituency and his brother Uma Shankar Ganesh is trying for Narsipatnam assembly ticket. YSRCP is looking for winning faces and since Anakapalli has substantial kapu community votes, they are looking for charismatic people who can win elections.

Puri Jagannath hails from Kottapalli village, Kotapuratla Mandal. His brother Umasankar Ganesh worked as TDP Mandal leader in the region before joining YSRCP. During his Oradrpu Yatra YS.Jagan particularly visited Puri's native place Bikepalli. Later during Payakaraopeta byelections YS.Vijayamma along with her daughter YS.Sharmila stayed in Puri's house. Jagan attended Puri Jagannath's daughter function at Hyderabad. Buzz is Puri informed Jagan that if his brother Ganesh gets Narsipatnam assembly ticket, he would work for his victory.

Ganesh also turned Jagan's loyalist and started meeting his family and even participated in Sharmila's yatra in Kurnool, Mahaboobnagar districts. It has to be seen whether Puri who showcased his loyalty towards Jagan by including his wife's still shaking hands with Jagan in CGR will allow his wife to contest elections or not.

Actress Bhuvaneswari is not known to all but she is a popular sex bomb in South. She on Sunday treated crowd on road to free midnight booze show in Chennai which infuriarated them who started calling her names. Even then she did not listen and after enjoying herself with her dance in skimpy clothes, she sped past the place.

It happened when Kumar, a resident of Tambaram, went to Tupaki movie in a Kar at Eyambakkam, Prarthana Theater. He parked his car and when he was about to alight, a car consisting of Madras High Court Judge Damodara Krishna along with Bhuvaneswari hit at the back. This led to skirmish between them and onlookers complained to police.

When Inspector Krishnamurthy was inquiring on the whole incident, Bhuvaneswari who was fully drunk started dancing in her own style. Chennaities who are quite traditional are furious over the whole incident and are demanding strict action against Bhuvaneswari.

Record Price for Baadshah Overseas Rights

Great India Films (GIF), the senior overseas distributor had bagged the overseas rights of NTR's upcoming movie, Baadshah for a whopping 4.5C. This price does not include the costs of Prints and Publicity. Overseas is the strong forte to Srinu Vaitla, the director of Baadshah and with NTR’s new look and characterization in the film, the buzz surrounding the project is very high.

Earlier the movie was planned to release in January 2013 and then postponed to March and Now, the release date is fixed on March 28th.Kajal Agarwal is the heroine and SS Thaman is the music director. Bandla Ganesh is producing this high budget movie under Parameswara Arts banner.

Star Wars on Sankranthi

Deepavali ended on a sedate and calm note for Tollywood movie lovers and many feel that top stars are saving their best for high profile star wars during sankranthi next year. As of now some big budget and crazy projects of top heroes are going to lock horns during sankranthi.

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Nayak is releasing on Jan 9th and will be engaged in duel with multi starrer Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu's 'Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Prabhas is busy with his red hot 'Mirchi' and even Kollywood bilingual 'Bad Boys' is also entering the fray.  One need not be surprised if some more films join the fray and some postponing their releases due to fear gripping them. Super Star Rajanikanth's Vikramasimha is also waiting in the wings.

All the films have their own speciality and the first among them is Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. This family entertainer is gaining attention of many. Currently important scenes in the backdrop of Bhadrachalam set are being caned in Hyd. Film makers are planning to release audio during Dec 13th, on Venkatesh's birthday and film on Jan 11th.

Ram Charan will be seen in dual role in Nayak directed by Vinayak. Sources say story will be similar to Tagore. Prabhas who did not get enough response from Rebel is concentrating all his energies on Mirchi while Karthi is turning Bad Boys. However movie analysts feel that since film makers are practising give and take policy, one will be surprised if all these releases happen in time. Film makers are are taking due care to release their films in highest number of theaters and mint money in the first week itself rather than eatout on others sources.
